Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in SharePoint technology.
Overview of the Responsibilities
- Migrate contents, documents, libraries, lists, workflows, sites, and customizations from older SharePoint versions (e.g., SharePoint 2016) to the latest SharePoint edition (e.g., SharePoint Subscription Edition), ensuring minimal downtime.
- Utilize SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, or Microsoft’s SharePoint Migration Tool) for pre-migration analysis, testing, and post-migration validation.
- Address and resolve issues that arise during the migration and post-migration phases, including content discrepancies, permission mismatches, and adjustments to custom solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, such as web parts, workflows, and apps using SharePoint REST API, CSOM, and SPFx (SharePoint Framework).
- Manage SharePoint security settings, permissions, site collections, and content types, ensuring proper configuration and access control.
- Create custom workflows and automate business processes using tools like Power Automate, Nintex, or other workflow automation platforms.
- Work closely with stakeholders and teams to gather business requirements, design tailored solutions and deliver high-quality SharePoint applications.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and strategies, including ShareGate, Metalogix, or other migration solutions.
- Experience with SharePoint Online administration, including user management, site collections, permissions, content management, retention and governance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially related to SharePoint performance, migrations, and user access issues.
- Strong experience in custom SharePoint development using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in SharePoint APIs (e.g., REST API, Microsoft Graph API, CSOM, JSOM) and custom integrations with external systems.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Office 365, and SharePoint Designer for customizing and automating tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, Nintex and Microsoft Entra ID (AAD) for creating custom apps and reporting solutions integrated with SharePoint data.
Nice To Have Requirements
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified SharePoint Developer or similar certifications.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with: Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Scripting/Coding: Possess strong scripting experience, utilizing languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or C# to automate tasks, enhance functionality, and streamline processes in SharePoint and related environments.
