Who are we looking for?
We are looking for dynamic individuals having the following qualities:
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, or Operations.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years in Regulatory & Compliance Domains.
- 2+ years of experience in interpreting and applying industry and regulatory standards.
- Specific experience with:
- International export & import regulations and operational requirements.
- International Customs and Border Control (CBP) programs (e.g., ACE).
- Managing third-party service providers.
- Supporting directives related to safety, health, environmental, and consumer protection.
- Compliance with industry standards such as NIST, Hazardous Materials Regulations, and Battery certifications.
- Knowledge of global RF regulations (e.g., cellular, Bluetooth, LoRa).
- Familiarity with cGxP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or ISO 17025 requirements.
Overview of the Responsibilities
- Trade Facilitation & Compliance Management:
- Coordinate and ensure efficient movement of imported, exported, and domestically transported goods.
- Collaborate with trade service providers, customs brokers, and carriers to streamline import clearances and ensure trade compliance.
- Policy Development & Team Training:
- Develop internal policies to maintain compliance with domestic/international trade laws.
- Mentor and train team members on compliance procedures and industry standards.
- Regulatory & Compliance Program Support:
- Aid in fulfilling regulatory and compliance requirements for products and operations.
- Work closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams throughout New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Certification Management:
- Oversee regulatory certifications, renewals, and maintain compliance status monitoring.
- Engage third-party providers to support regulatory compliance certifications.
- Risk Management & Action Planning:
- Assess compliance and operational risks, creating action plans to mitigate them.
- Support ITC requirements to facilitate smooth shipment flow.
Key Requirements
- Expertise in U.S. export/import regulations and familiarity with CBP programs (e.g., ACE).
- Proficiency in managing third-party providers.
- Strong project management and regulatory knowledge.
- Practical knowledge of cGxP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 17025 standards.
- Proven ability to interpret NIST standards, transportation/vibration standards, and hazardous materials regulations.

- Experience in high-volume, low-cost electronics manufacturing.
- Customs broker experience or equivalent.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools.
