Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in life sciences or healthcare.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial data curation or related life science roles.

Overview of the Responsibilities

  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of clinical concepts, data sources, and the state of the industry to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with data architects and data science engineers to inform data extraction and transformation.
  • Engage with customer medical and scientific leads, advocating for clinical and medical perspectives and translating them into actionable approaches.
  • Interact effectively and persuasively with a variety of stakeholders, both technical and business, to ensure seamless communication and understanding.
  • Demonstrate project leadership and accountability for deliverables, executing against work plans.
  • Regularly communicate with US clients.
  • Your expertise will enable the transformation of raw data into actionable insights and contribute to advancements in the field.

Key Requirements

  • Expert in applying industry standards to conform clinical trial data, including the classifications of medical diagnosis/disease, clinical procedure/activities, and clinical concepts (e.g., UMLS, HL-7, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, SDTM).
  • Preferred specialization in cancers, including diagnosis, pathology, and treatments.
  • Working with public data sources such as clinicaltrials.gov, ChEMBL, and NPI, and be proficient in EDC and other data management systems, real-world data (RWD), and electronic medical records (EMR) data.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard data formats, classifications, and terminologies, depending on the specific domain (e.g., healthcare, biology).

Nice To Have Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes.
  • Experience with additional data standards and terminologies.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Background in statistics or biostatistics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to facilitate data interaction.
  • Proficiency in data management techniques and tools, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), data integration, and data cleaning.
