    • VMWare Infrastructure Management: Support the deployment of Data Center, vCenter, ESX host, etc.
    • VMWare Infrastructure Administration: Deployment of Machines, Management of resources, Networks, etc. in coordination with ITS Engineering.
    • Horizon View Management & Administration: Horizon View environment deployment through management & administration.
    • Hyper-V Administration – Cluster & Resource: Create, configure and delete VMs, VM checkpoints, virtual disks, virtual switches, and network adapters, as well as modify various Hyper-V settings.

 

  1. AD, Exchange and O365
    • AD Users & GPO Administration: User provision, update, modify, and assign permission and support GPO provisioning & assignment as needed.
    • On-Premises Exchange Administration: Manage on-premises exchange, administer user provisioning, create mailbox & shared mailbox, etc.
    • Administration of O365: User management, shared mailbox, permission, group, contact, etc.

 

  1. System Administration
    • 24/7/365 monitoring of our Tools and Services On-premise and Cloud: Respond and resolve alerts from our monitoring systems and escalate when required.
    • DNS System Administration – External & Internal: Create, update and modify of internal DNS and support external DNS functions when required.
    • Windows System Management & Administration: Evaluate, Install and manage windows system
    • Linux Build & System Administration: Evaluate, install and manage Linux system.
    • Mimecast System Administration until Migration to O365: Create policy, blacklist, whitelist, message trace, etc.

 

  1. Security & Patching
    • SSL Certificates Management & Deployment: Creating certificates through CA Authority, 3rd Party SSL certificates deployment, etc. in coordination with ITS engineering and application teams.
    • Ensure Security & Efficiency of IT Infrastructure: Securing system through deploying Antivirus, forensic Tools, Syslog & running those efficiently.
    • SCCM Deployment/Rollouts – Application: Rollout of Application through SCCM.
    • Patch Management & Rollout (SCCM, KACE K1000): Patch Management through SCCM and KACE.

 

  1. Support & Troubleshooting
    • Troubleshoot System Issues & Outages: System Troubleshooting and resolve issue.
    • Respond & Resolve Help Desk Requests in ITS-SYSTEMADMIN Queue: Monitoring JIRA ITS – SYSTEMADMIN Queue and help out to resolve it.
    • Provide 1st or 2nd Tier Technical Support on questions/issues as assigned: Accountable support and answering question or query.
    • L3 Escalations for Incidents/Problems: 3rd Tier issue investigation and escalate to Sr. Engineers as required.

 

  1. Performance & Monitoring
    • Capacity Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring Data Center capacity and recommend actions when necessary
    • Management of Backup Restoration & Monitoring: Monitor backup and execute restores requests as required. Major incidents or DR require ITS Engineering engagement.
    • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implement and monitor network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance. 

 

  1. Others
    • SimpliVity Infrastructure Management – Storage Monitoring, Primary and Disaster Recovery (DR) Backup policy, Ensuring Backup, etc: Managing SimpliVity Environment, Deployment and administration.
    • Build end user deployments and manage rollouts: Manual Deployment of End user Application and rollouts.


    • SQL Server Provisioning: Install and configure SQL Server related software (i.e. DB Engine, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and DQS) on physical and/or virtual infrastructure.

 

    • SQL Server Provisioning: SQL Server upgrades/patching applying only when part of a formal project plan or as part of a problem resolution.

 

    • Database Provisioning: Creation, cloning, and migration of databases in or to production and nonproduction environments

 

    • HA/DR: AlwaysOn (i.e. FCI or AOAG) configuration including Failover Cluster Manager expertise

 

    • HA/DR: Database Mirroring, Log Shipping and/or SQL Replication configuration

 

    • Database Maintenance: Backup/restore of databases ensuring best practice procedures and validation of backups that are restorable for successful database recovery

 

    • Performance: Environment analysis of performance with recommendations for configuration and/or index and code changes.

 

    • Monitoring: Monitoring of the health of the SQL Server environments related to performance issues, errors and space management including those that bring a SQL instance down.

 

    • Monitoring: Monitoring job failures and remediating when they occur.

 

    • Code Deployment: Given procedure from application teams to deploy T-SQL scripts and/or SSIS packages.

 

  • Security: Providing access and privileges based on well-defined security policies and acting as the gatekeeper of corporate data challenging access requests when they are unclear in any aspect.
